Letter: Gore should end this fiasco

These additional votes were counted only in those counties controlled by Democrats.

If these votes are allowed, then the will of the people can be determined in Florida only if this type of additional vote is counted in all Florida counties, most of which went for Texas Gov. George W. Bush.

Vice President Al Gore did not wish his "intent of the voter" rule to apply to absentee ballots, not even those from the military serving in hot spots. I hope Gore ends this fiasco and quits embarrassing the Democratic Party.
