Metro Police detectives are looking for two men in connection with the robbery of an armored car earlier this month.
The Loomis armored car was robbed about noon Aug. 10 when it made a stop at a Wal-Mart at 3041 N. Rainbow Blvd.
Detectives say two men robbed the truck of an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing in a red Ford Escort. The car was later found in the parking lot of the Catalina Shores apartments, 2901 N. Rainbow, police said.
The gunmen are described as black men. One is believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, 6 feet tall, 225 pounds, with short black hair and a beard. The other man is between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 160 pounds.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call detectives at 229-3591 or Secret Witness at 385-5555.
