LV contractor sued over alleged asset transfer

A Las Vegas wholesale supplier of plumbing fixtures sued an allegedly insolvent plumbing contractor, alleging it illegally transferred its assets to one of its officers to avoid repaying a $143,336 debt for plumbing equipment.
Morally Wholesale Plumbing Inc. seeks an order to appoint a receiver to prevent Brothers Plumbing Co. Inc., an allegedly dissolved corporation, and its officer Gary Cavaretta from paying out or further transferring any of its assets to other creditors, said a Clark County District Court lawsuit.
The suit said Morally won an order in 1997 against Brothers Plumbing that requires the company to pay $143,336 for plumbing equipment delivered by Morally to Brothers Plumbing on credit.
The defendants could not be reached.
