Letter: Station loses out in Malone affair
Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000 | 10:09 a.m.
I'm shocked that Brown still has a job with them six months after they knew how dirty he plays.
I doubt I'll ever be able to be a customer of a Station Casino. On the other hand, its chief rival, Boyd Gaming, has always provided me with a more home-grown, less corporate-cloned entertainment experience.
Just visit the lobby of Sam's Town, take a look at the historical photos of its founder's local history and you'll get a feel for the good old days of Las Vegas before the carpetbaggers moved in.
For the record, I'm not employed by nor do I own stock in either company, and I don't live in Malone's district.
