Two local officials have been appointed to leadership positions with the Nevada League of Cities.
Las Vegas Councilwoman Lynette Boggs McDonald was appointed to serve as second vice president for the 2000-2001 executive board term.
Boulder City Councilman Mike Pacini was appointed secretary-treasurer.
Boggs McDonald, the former secretary-treasurer, is moving up the ranks in the organization. If both stay in office next year, Pacini will be second vice president and Boggs McDonald vice president. The following year Boggs McDonald will be president.
The league is a nonprofit organization dedicated to coordinating legislative activities for all cities and municipalities in Nevada.
