A 20-year-old man is dead after being shot Saturday night in the parking lot of a Las Vegas Strip restaurant.
Another 20-year-old, Juan David Padilla, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of murder with a deadly weapon, Las Vegas Police said.
Police arrived outside the parking lot of Denny's at 11 p.m. after receiving a call about a shooting.
The victim and two friends were outside a movie theater on the Strip when they got into an argument with two men in a Geo Metro, police said.
The victim and his friends later found the car in the Denny's parking lot and confronted the two men again. One of the occupants pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the neck, police said.
Several witnesses got the license plate number of the car when the two men fled northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard. Patrol units stopped the vehicle, arrested Padilla and recovered a gun, police said.
