River Cats pound Stars

All-Star second baseman Jose Ortiz collected three hits and knocked in two runs Sunday night, helping the host Sacramento River Cats to a 10-4 Pacific Coast League victory over the Las Vegas Stars. Ortiz pushed his league-leading hits total to 173 and took over the league RBI lead with 104 as Sacramento won for the 12th time in 15 games. The Stars return home tonight to take on the Fresno Grizzlies at Cashman Field
