Patricia Fielder
Patricia Fielder, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born March 17, 1927, in Indianapolis. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired accountant.
She is survived by her husband, Harry E.; one daughter, Beverly Fielder, and one son, Michael Fielder, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Wennona Halderman of Atlanta; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Jones.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Jeannine Marie Fosmo
Jeannine Marie Fosmo, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 16, 1937, in Banning, Calif. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; two sons, Ronnie Fosmo and Jessie Fosmo, and two daughters, Kim Fosmo Mule and Cherie Fosmo, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Joann Engle of Mapleton, Utah; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Utah.
Shontell L. Holmes
Shontell L. Holmes, 28, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1971, in Las Vegas. A resident for 27 years, she was a food server.
She is survived by her husband, Lofton Richard; one daughter, Tivonia, two sons, Martell and LaViance, and her mother, Janice Webb, all of Las Vegas; her father, Larry Holmes of Mesquite; two sisters, Alisha Taylor and Valencia Holmes, three brothers, Randy Holmes, Bryan Holmes and Troy Holmes, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Elnora Richard and John Davenport, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.
Margaret E. Isaac
Margaret E. Isaac, 91, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 29, 1909, in Ohio. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Hudson Isaac of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Ohio. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Earl Lea Sr.
Earl Lea Sr., 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 22, 1928, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 45 years, he was a hotel porter.
He is survived by three daughters, Myra Patterson and Cheryl Childress, both of North Las Vegas and Earlene Bolton of Las Vegas; one son, Earl Lea Jr. of Las Vegas; one brother, Tyronne Lea of Carthage, Ark.; one sister, Katie Stewart of Hot Springs, Ark.; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Ebenezer Church of God in Christ, 1072 W. Bartlett Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Robert Dale Luks
Robert Dale Luks, 66, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Michigan. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired carpenter, a Korean War Army veteran, a member of the Masons, Zelzah Shrine and affiliated bodies and Carpenters Local 1780.
He is survived by his wife, Constance; two daughters, Gaylynn Montoya of Henderson and Pam Perez of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sons, Scott Luks of Henderson and John M. Bell of Bakersfield; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Felix of Los Angeles; two brothers, John Luks Jr. of Okemos, Mich., and James Luks of Mason, Mich.; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Milton Ray McCall
Milton Ray McCall, 48, of Las Vegas died Aug. 18 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1951, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired pantry worker.
He is survived by his wife, Marietta; four sons, Milton Ray Brown, William Earnest Brown, Tony Terrell Brown and Derek LaShaun McCall, his father, Ben L. McCall, three brothers, Ben L. McCall Jr., Melvin McCall and Larry Gaskin, and one sister, Linda L. Smith, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Marie A. Phillips
Marie A. Phillips, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 8, 1910, in Colorado. A resident for five years, she was a nurse.
She is survived by one son, Gene Phillips of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6:30-8 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Denver.
Theresa Pugh
Theresa Pugh, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 19, 1929, in Stephenville, Newfoundland. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired Air Force exchange supervisor.
She is survived by her husband, Nick; two daughters, Diane Grayson and Debbie Duesler, and one son, Don Pugh, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Madge Lee and Janet Greene, both of Port Au Port, Newfoundland; two brothers, Roy Gaudon of Port Au Port and Greg Gaudon of Halifax, Nova Scotia; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Ray Aster Richardson Sr.
Ray Aster Richardson Sr., 81, of Las Vegas and Pahrump died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born June 30, 1919, in Randleman, N.C. A resident for 25 years, he was a real estate salesman and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Ray A. Richardson Jr. of Carlsbad, N.M.; one daughter, Susan Gibbs of Stanton, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Clifford W. Rogers
Clifford W. Rogers, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Kenosha, Wis. A resident for 12 years, he owned and operated a tour business for 15 years. He was a Korean War Army veteran, an elder in the First Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas and president of the church's Lighthouse Group.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two sons, Martin Rogers of Kingman, Ariz., and Scott Rogers of Los Angeles; one daughter, Laurie Rogers of Kansas City, Mo.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Doris 'Mom' Smith
Doris "Mom" Smith, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born June 1, 1921, in Ohio. A resident for 18 years, she was a professional poker player.
She is survived by one son, Donald Smith of Las Vegas; one daughter, Joyce Edgington of Tennessee; one brother, C. Chapman, and one sister, Ruth Ann, both of Ohio; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.
John N. 'Popieo' Spurk
John N. "Popieo" Spurk, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born April 7, 1934, in Wildwood, Pa. A resident for 38 years, he was a stone mason.
He is survived by five sons, Joseph Spurk of Sugarland, Texas, Dale Spurk of Cranberry Township, Pa., David Spurk of Houston, Ronald Spurk of Angeleton, Texas, and Michael Crooks of Las Vegas; five daughters, Donna Plom of San Antonio, Robin Spurk of Florida and Julie Spalding, Kathy Vinzant and Susan Harris, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert Spurk of Callery, Pa.; two sisters, Ann Kemery of Connoquenessing, Pa., and Irene Jones of Petrolia, Pa.; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Richard A. Young
Richard A. Young, 63, of Las Vegas died Aug. 18 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1936, in Ohio. A resident for six years, he was a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Margaret Cools; one daughter, Debra Zur; one son, Richard A. Young; one sister, Marilyne Young; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
