An anonymous caller led Metro Police to the body of a man at a southeast Las Vegas residence Wednesday afternoon.
A woman called 911 at 3:20 p.m. and told dispatchers there had been a shooting at an apartment, Lt. Wayne Petersen said.
Police said they found the door to the apartment unlocked and a man's body in the living room.
The cause of death could not be determined at the scene, Petersen said.
The man's identity is not known. He is believed to be in his 20s.
Petersen said detectives are trying to discover who the anonymous caller was so the circumstances of the killing can be determined.
