2nd Race -- Lily's Lad - Well bred runner from Shirreffs barn, Delahoussaye scales, needs prompt start and clean trip from rail post in tough maiden heat. Ex Federali - Nakatani aboard Baffert trainee, draws good outside post, team tough in these spots. Value Play -- Irish Muldoon
4th Race -- Perusing - Irish-bred runner had no place to go in last, draws good inner post for this mile turf outing, Flores back to make ammends. Champagne Prince - Another British-bred coming off a victory here, Pincay back aboard, must overcome outside post to repeat. Value Play -- Diplomat
5th Race -- Raptar - Gomez scales Hess trainee, should be part of the pace scenario from outside post at a mile here, could be in right spot. Implausible - Entered for Wednesday, Pincay on Cenicola trainee, another who should be part of pace, factor if opts for this spot. Value Play -- Romeo's Royalty
6th Race -- Cafe Del Mar - Solis scales La Croix trainee, draws good post, blinker change, appropriately named for seaside score. Vezina - Hustling Pedroza on Chapman trainee, needs sharp break and clean trip from rail post, speed needed to be contender. Value Play -- Hi Class Style
7th Race -- Miramar - French-bred draws rail post for the marathon turf feature, top jock Espinoza aboard, good spot for action. Six Zero - Another French-bred runner, Solis re-rides Frankel trainee, didn't fire in last, but, connections to good to ignore here. Value Play -- Irisheyesareflying
8th Race -- Flashy Finish - Desormeaux/Hess team, draws good outside post for the nightcap sprint, should sit the trip in this. I'monfireforyou - Espinoza on Abrams trainee, another who draws good post, could be on fire for winners circle here. Value Play -- Happy Go Lucky
