A 32-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested over the weekend as a suspect in the shooting death of Arnold "Archie" Pastor and the abduction of a witness to the shooting.
Metro Police say Eric Alido had been drinking with 29-year-old Pastor and a third man when the shooting occurred early Friday morning at Pastor's home on the city's east side. Police discovered Pastor in the home with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say Alido fled the scene before police arrived and forced the third man at gunpoint to drive him to Southern California where he has relatives. Detectives worked with Alido's family to persuade him to return to Las Vegas, where he was arrested and charged on suspicion of murder with a weapon and kidnap with a weapon.
