Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000 | 3:10 a.m.
A former engineer at the Luxor has filed a lawsuit against the hotel-casino, Operating Engineers Local 501 and two supervisors, claiming wrongful termination.
Watson Newman is seeking damages, lawyer's fees and other relief that the court deems appropriate.
Newman claims in his Aug. 11 filing he was fired soon after telling management that some of his co-workers added hours of overtime to their timecards although they were leaving work early.
