LV firm hit with trademark suit

Great American Insurance Co. of Cincinnati is taking legal action to stop a Las Vegas financial asset management consultant from using the Great American trademark and company name.
The Ohio insurance underwriter, which said it owns trademarks including Great American Connection, The Great American Insurance Group and Great American Life, sued Great American Financial Group and its President Kamlesh Kumar in U.S. District Court.
The defendant could not be reached for comment.
