Because of an omission by the Sun, a court story in Tuesday's Metro section did not mention that Stephanie Bowman will be eligible for parole after serving five years of her 16-year prison sentence imposed in District Court. She was sentenced in connection with a traffic accident in which her 10-year-old cousin died. She will begin serving the 16-year sentence after she completes a one-to-three year sentence in an unrelated assault case. The Sun regrets the omission.
