Summerlin operator late again with financial report

Resort at Summerlin LP, owner and operator of the Regent Las Vegas hotel-casino, notified the Securities and Exchange Commission that its latest quarterly financial report will be late.

In a notification of late filing issued Tuesday, the company said it would be unable to file its report for the quarter ending June 30 because of unspecified negotiations.

"The registrants are in the process of attempting to conclude agreements which, if concluded as currently anticipated, will have a material effect on the content of the registrants' audited financial statements ... for the period ended June 30, 2000," the filing said.

It is the third consecutive report to be delayed by Resort at Summerlin since March 31. In previous notifications of late filings, the company gave similar reasons for the delay.

The company has not filed a quarterly or annual financial report since Nov. 15, for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 1999.
