University officials say with a 23 percent increase expected in this year's freshman class, the new facilities come just in time.
A new residence hall and student services center are among the projects showcased on Tuesday.
The $17 million residence hall will house 259 students and features oversized bedrooms, bathrooms and Internet hookups.
Other campus improvements include the remodeling of the former College of Agriculture building, which will now house the English department, and the dining commons at the student union.
