Erasmo J. Auricchio

Erasmo J. Auricchio, 79, of Henderson died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 22, 1921, in New York. A resident for seven years, he was a scorer in the paper industry, a special-events usher at the MGM Grand and Thomas & Mack Center and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Carmela; one son, Donald; one daughter, Nancy Auricchio Warner; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Eldora Barnum

Eldora Barnum, 77, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born May 29, 1923, in Toquerville, Utah. A resident for 58 years, she was a homemaker, a member of American War Mothers and was a voter registrar for the past 50 years.

She is survived by three sons, John Barnum of Huntsville, Ala., Rex Barnum of Las Vegas and Rick Barnum of Fairview, Utah; one daughter, Dixie Blood of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Carma Keller of St. George, Utah, and Dorothy Smith of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Leroy Stapley of Chester, Utah; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Friday in the Clayton and Washburn LDS Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Martha E. Bello

Martha E. Bello, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 21, 1915, in Bellaire, Ohio. A resident for 34 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Jane Peterson, and one son, Roger Bello, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by graveside services in Palm Memorial Park.

John Timothy Conlan

John Timothy Conlan, 61, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 25, 1938, in California. A resident for six years, he was a real estate broker.

He is survived by two sons, Matthew Conlan and Daniel Conlan, both of Virginia; four sisters, Patricia Gale, Coleen Dougherty and Sheila Conlan, all of San Jose, Calif., and Rosemary Eaton of Livermore, Calif.; and two brothers, Peter Conlan of Reno and Michael Conlan of Sandy Valley.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer, 55 E. Reno Ave. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Wyman D. Conn Sr.

Wyman D. Conn Sr., 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Oklahoma. A resident for 13 years, he was an employee of Wells Fargo Armored Transport, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; one son, Wyman Conn Jr. of Las Vegas; two daughters, Barbara Schielberg of Oklahoma and Peggy Walker of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Brent Cooper

Brent Cooper, 42, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 14, 1957, in Carthage, Ill. A resident for 41 years, he was a North Las Vegas firefighter, an Army veteran, a member of North Las Vegas Firefighters Association and North Las Vegas Chiefs Association.

He is survived by his wife, Amy; two daughters, Candice Green and Brittany Cooper, and his mother, Kathleen Cooper, all of Las Vegas; his father, Christopher Brooks Jr. of Wisconsin; two sisters, Kari Brown of Seattle and Jessica Brooks of Wisconsin; and three brothers, Steve Cooper of Medford, Ore., L. Blair Cooper of Las Vegas and Christopher Brooks Jr.

Visitation was scheduled 2-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Ralph M. Cornell

Ralph M. Cornell, 78, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 2, 1922, in Philadelphia. A resident for three years, he was a Kern County (Calif.) social worker for 25 years and was a World War II and Korean War Army Air Corps and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Helen J.; one brother, Howard Cornell of Burlington, N.J.; five stepdaughters, Mary Ellen Cholet of Tampa, Fla., Betty Jacobs Gleed of Bakersfield, Calif., Georgia Smedley of Lake Elsinore, Calif., Doris von Kleeck of Henderson and Marie Ridgeway of Benchland, Mont., two stepsons, Donald Jacobs of Los Angeles and Ben E. Martin of Great Falls, Mont.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. today in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 4709 S. Nellis Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Patrick 'Caveman' Cross

Patrick "Caveman" Cross, 39, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 21, 1961, in Los Angeles. A resident for 24 years, he was a food supply warehouseman, a member of Club 51 for 15 years and a member of the Las Vegas Blues Society.

He is survived by two sisters, Leilani Ely of Arnold, Mo., and Rose Ann Cuellar of San Antonio; and one brother, John Nuzum Cross of Palm Springs, Calif.

Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

George D. Garza

George D. Garza, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born June 13, 1931, in Plainfield, N.J. A resident for five years, he was a retired professor, a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Joy; one daughter, Tonja Garza of Dallas; one son, Anthony Garza of Minneola Park, Calif.; and one brother, Edward Garza of Washingtonville, N.Y.

Francis Gerkey

Francis Gerkey, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for 18 years, he was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Chariton, Iowa.

He is survived by one son, Patrick Gerkey of Bonney Lake, Wash.; two daughters, Shawn McSparen and Shana Gerkey, and his mother, Theda Gerkey, all of Chariton; one brother, Dean Gerkey; five sisters, Sharon, Thelma, Georgene, Annie and Terry; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be in Chariton. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Mattie L. Martin

Mattie L. Martin, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Hughes, Ark. A resident for seven years, she was a Clark County parks employee and worked with the Economic Opportunity Board.

She is survived by five children, Sharon Martin, Leonard Martin, Lamar Grayson, Jabari Grayson and Shaunta Grayson, and her mother, Willie B. Grayson, all of Las Vegas; and four brothers, Holsie Grayson, Joseph Grayson, Mickey Grayson and Samuel Robinson, all of Chicago.

Burial will be in Chicago. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Robert D. McOmber

Robert D. McOmber, 73, of Henderson died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 3, 1927, in Los Angeles. A resident for one year, he was a retired railroad maintenance worker, a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Velma; three sons, Mark Braley of Henderson, Shawn Braley of Gilbert, Ariz., and Nicholas Smith of the U.S. Navy; seven daughters, Mary Wilton of Rialto, Calif., Lorraine Hart of Santa Rosa, Calif., Theresa Smith of Fontana, Calif., Tina Braley of Canoga Park, Calif., Kim Genovese of Palm Desert, Calif., Dannial Zisman of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Michelle Smith of Santa Barbara, Calif.; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Patricia Ann 'Trish' Mohs

Patricia "Trish" Ann Mohs, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 10 years, she was born Sept. 14, 1950, in Christopher, Ill.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; one daughter, Michelle Page of Minnesota; her father, Harmon Draper, and three sisters, Elaine Gorin, Marrian Herdener and Delores Ramos, all of Colorado; three brothers, Jack Draper and Jim Draper, both of Colorado, and Tony Draper of California; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

William H. Morrell Jr.

William H. Morrell Jr., 69, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 9, 1931, in Springfield, Ohio. A resident for four years, he was a computer operator for the federal government and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita L.; one son, Darryl Reed of Temecula, Calif.; two daughters, Danielle Morrell and Stephanie Reed, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Eilene A. Patrias

Eilene A. Patrias, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1935, in Minnesota. A resident for 31 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin; two daughters, Julie Burrus and Patty Christensen, and two sons, Mark Patrias and Daniel Patrias, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Francis Schwartz, and one brother, Delroy Schwartz, both of St. Cloud, Minn.; three sisters, Doris Arnold of Las Vegas, Dorothy Wallack of San Diego and Dorene Howell of Keithville, La.; and eight grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph H.

Carolyn Peguese, 43, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 3, 1957, in Los Angeles. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by one brother, Sterling McElroy of Selma, Calif.

Mary A. Smith

Mary A. Smith, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Adrian, Texas. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired restaurateur.

She is survived by her husband, Harry J.; one son, Tommy J. Traylor of Henderson; one daughter, Suzetta M. Loveland of Las Vegas; two stepsons, William Joseph Smith of St. George, Utah, and Randy Lee Smith of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Goodman.
