Letter: Preserve U.S. sovereignty

Their actions in appealing to the United Nations, because the federal government had polluted their land by mining and nuclear waste storage, are warranted. But members of Congress and U.S. citizens, who unconditionally support international government, will learn what loss of U.S. sovereignty really means.
Unless Congress can come to terms with the Shoshone Indians, an international body (government) will make the decision for them.
Anyone who points out the obvious about our involvement in international government is usually derided and ridiculed, but this case will be obvious to all.
