A veteran personnel director who is chief of hiring for the Las Vegas Housing Authority has been offered the top human resource job for the city.
Claudette Enus is expected to be approved by the Las Vegas City Council on Sept. 11. She will make $94,000.
Enus will replace current Human Resources Director Rick Anderson, who is leaving the city to pursue a private business venture and teaching opportunities in California.
Before going to work for the Housing Authority, Enus spent more than 20 years representing labor interests in the private sector.
