Robert Augustus Bartlett
Robert Augustus Bartlett, 69, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a tire service, a Korean War Army veteran, a member of Henderson/Green Valley Elks Lodge 2802, Daylite Masonic Lodge 44 F&AM, and was associated with the Zelzah Shrine Temple and Scottish Rite Bodies.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; three daughters, Roberta Ingalsby of Dolan Springs, Ariz., Catherine Cardente of Las Vegas and Tracy Medeiros of Henderson; one son, James Bartlett of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Lee Ellen Bingham
Lee Ellen Bingham, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 22, 1921, in Hutchins, Texas. A resident for six years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by one son, William V. Bingham, one daughter, Donna Molzahn, and two brothers, William Mays and Weldon Mays, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Joseph Boscia
Joseph Boscia, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired cement finisher for a brewery and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Stella; four sons, Joe Boscia Jr., Rocco Boscia and Sal Boscia, all of Arvada, Colo., and Gino Boscia of Las Vegas; three daughters, Rosemarie Boscia of Elizabeth, Colo., Sharon Boscia of Arvada and Lysa Boscia of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; one sister, Babe Foti of Newark, N.J.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ernest 'Paul' Franks
Ernest "Paul" Franks, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 12, 1927, in Oklahoma. A resident for nine years, he was a general superintendent in the construction industry and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Grace; one son, Don Franks of Las Vegas; one brother, Lawrence Franks of Chico, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Judith Anne Gardner
Judith Anne Gardner, 65, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Marquette, Mich. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, David Gardner and Stuart Gardner, both of New Jersey; four daughters, Vicki Ellis, Jill Gardner, Becky Guy and Kathy Bostick, all of Nevada; her mother, Anna Gasper of Wisconsin; one brother, Howie Gingras of Colorado; and one sister, Karen Bowerman of Florida.
Mass was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
Helen Lucille Gum
Helen Lucille Gum, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Red Lodge, Mont. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Jack L.; three sons, Michael L. Gum of Las Vegas and Christopher L. Gum and Douglas L. Gum, both of Cave Creek, Ariz.; two sisters, Ruth Gebo of Red Lodge, Mont., and Lucille Basone of Billings, Mont.; one brother, George Sekulich of Salt Lake City; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 6 p.m. vigil and rosary Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will follow in Memory Gardens.
The family suggests donations to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Building Fund, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89128.
Jose Iginio Herrera
Jose Iginio Herrera, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Cebolla, N.M. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired Air Force aircraft mechanic and Vietnam War veteran, a member of American Legion and past post commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10047.
He is survived by his wife, Cherie; nine daughters, Rebecca Roybal, Rosalie Archuleta and Olivia Herrera, all of Grand Junction, Colo., Bertha Herrera of Salida, Colo., Janice Maher of Walden, N.Y., Debbie Grant of Clearfield, Utah, and Julie Harmon, Donna Tatro and Lisa Batterberry, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Paul Herrera of Las Vegas and Michael Tatro of Utah; three sisters, Erlinda Pacheco of LaJara, Colo., Julia DeMoss of Mayer, Ariz., and Tessie Atencio of Espanola, N.M.; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Sylvia Kelly
Sylvia Kelly, 59, of Las Vegas died July 12 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 28, 1940, in Larned, Kan. A resident for many years, she was a self-employed dog groomer.
She is survived by her dear friend, Sheri Keller of Las Vegas.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled private arrangements.
James Noel Kuykendall
James Noel Kuykendall, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 16, 1935, in Texas. A resident for 21 years, he was an airplane mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Mewchen Lyn; four daughters, Cynthia Kuykendall and Linda Verdugo, both of Norwalk, Calif., Jamie Little of Grass Valley, Calif., and Nancy Kampas of Sacramento; four brothers, Louis Kuykendall, Carl "Bud" Kuykendall and Eugene Kuykendall, all of Texas, and Lynn Kuykendall of Alaska; five sisters, Lena M. Kinsey, Hazel Pruitt, Ethel Colley, Helen Mazzo and Ruby Nell Davis, all of Texas; and five grandchildren.

Shirley Jean Lane
Shirley Jean Lane, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 13, 1934, in Marango, Iowa. A resident for 48 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, George R.; one son, Patrick Hull; one daughter, Susan Lane; two sisters, JoAn Lawrence and Kay Schulz; and one grandchild.

Phyllis Thelma Leon
Phyllis Thelma Leon, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1931, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 30 years, she owned and operated a craft supplies business.
She is survived by her husband, Enrique; two daughters, Tina Fleischman-Aguiar of Las Vegas and Estela Leon-Bluestein of Los Angeles; one son, Mark Leon, and her mother, Betty Rosoff, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Elayne Rosoff of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Josephine Moore, 92, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 3, 1908, in Globe, Ariz. A Henderson resident for two years, she was a retired schoolteacher.
She is survived by one son, Bob Steenbergen of Henderson; one daughter, Kathryn Ann McCallum of McLean, Va.; one brother, Dan Williamson of LaMirada, Calif.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

John Barrington Owen
John Barrington Owen, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 11, 1939, in Wales. A resident for many years, he was a chef.
He is survived by his wife, Lydi; two sons, Paul Owen and Ryan Owen, and four daughters, Kim Dlouhy, Monica Skougard, Amber Owen and Angela Owen, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Victoria Evelyn Saari Petersen
Victoria Evelyn Saari Petersen, 55, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 1, 1945, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for seven years, she was a teacher at Gibson Middle School.
She is survived by her husband, Dale C.; three daughters, Ruth Cole of Bountiful, Utah, Heather Lee of Smithfield, Utah, and Trisha Petersen of Granada, Spain; three sons, Cliff Petersen of Seattle and Ray Petersen and Nathan Petersen, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Ruth Saari, and one brother, Albert Saari, both of Highland, Utah; two sisters, Barbra Hartley of Sterling, Alberta, and Sandra Hansen of American Fork, Utah; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Wednesday in the Lone Mountain LDS Chapel. Burial will be in Utah. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Josephine M. Robertson
Josephine M. Robertson, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 5, 1919, in Detroit. A resident for 62 years, she was a homemaker and granddaughter of James H. Down Sr., a Las Vegas pioneer.
She is survived by two daughters, Melvine Humphreys-Grey and Tanya Cain, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Sandra Rosen, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 25, 1935, in Detroit. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip; two sons, Rick Rosen of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Ken Rosen of Farmington, Mich.; one daughter, Lauren Jones of Madison Heights, Mich.; her mother, Ruth Berk of Southfield, Mich.; two brothers, Sheldon Berk of Pacific Palisades, Calif., and Jeff Berk of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one sister, Carol Fryman of Miami; and four grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 10:30 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., followed by graveside services in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Kelma S. Ryan
Kelma S. Ryan, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 30, 1918, in Hiram, Utah. A resident for 63 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Fay A. Bishop and Anita Petty, and one son, Jesse M. Ryan, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Wanda Evans, and one brother, Allen Girard, both of Raymond, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Memory Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Warren Bradley Simons
Warren Bradley Simons, 42, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 12 years, he was born Oct. 3, 1957, in Colorado.
He is survived by one son, Luke Bradley Simons, and his parents, Warren F. and Betty M. Simons, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Deanna Sabrey of Colorado and Beverly Legg of Florida.
Services in Colorado are pending. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Harry C. Singer
Harry C. Singer, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 14, 1911, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired pharmacist.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta; and one sister, Claire Berlowe of Las Vegas.
