StumbleNevada investigating generic drug maker

Generic drug maker Schein Pharmaceutical Inc. of Florham Park, N.J., said it received subpoenas from the attorneys general of Nevada, Florida and New York regarding drug pricing.
The U.S. Justice Department and several states have been investigating whether Medicare and Medicaid have been overpaying for prescription drugs.
Schein already is being investigated separately by Texas over the pricing of a drug used by Texas Health Department programs; and is a defendant in a whistle-blower lawsuit in Florida over drug pricing.
