StumbleBrown homer helps Iowa edge Stars

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Roosevelt Brown hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning to help the Iowa Cubs to a 6-5 victory over the Las Vegas Stars Sunday afternoon at Sec Taylor Stadium.
Brown's homer, his ninth this season, broke a 4-4 tie and made a winner of reliever Eric Newman (2-4), who allowed just one hit in 3 1/3 innings.
