A Chicago-based publisher of legal and financial education materials is seeking an injunction to stop the Nevada Legal Resource Center Inc. from infringing its copyrights on three Nevada Bar exam preparatory manuals.
In a U.S. District Court lawsuit, Harcourt Professional Education Group Inc., said it has pending copyright applications for the 1997, 1998 and 1999 editions of its Practice Essay Book, Nevada BarBri Bar Review.
It alleged the defendant illegally used and copied materials from Harcourt's books.
Nevada Legal Resource Center owner James Greene declined comment on the allegations.
