William Jorgensen was found guilty on Wednesday of two counts of robbery using a deadly weapon, two counts of kidnapping, including a first degree charge for sexual assault, and four counts of sexual assault.
Deputy District Attorney Dan Greco said he could face up to eight life terms plus 60 years at his sentencing Sept. 12.
Testimony by the 19-year-old victim matched much of what her former boyfriend, now 21, told jurors earlier. She said the two were sitting in her car at the park talking when two men approached, demanding money or drugs. Jorgensen was allegedly armed with a .357 magnum revolver.
After the robbery, but Jorgensen climbed into the car and ordered the couple to drive away, the woman testified. After Jorgensen ordered the boyfriend to exit the car at a nearby parking lot, the woman drove east on Interstate 80 while Jorgensen kept the revolver pointed at her.
Jorgensen directed the woman to a remote area near Lockwood where he told her to pull off on a dirt road and then sexually assaulted her.
