A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a June shooting that left a Metro Police officer blind in one eye.
Tamika Beavers, 20, of Las Vegas is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on several felony charges, including attempted murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Metro Police said Beavers was one of four people who participated in a June 14 robbery at the Macayo's restaurant on the city's west side.
As three gunmen were running from the restaurant moments after the robbery, they encountered Metro officer Peter Rossi, 26. One of the gunmen opened fire on Rossi, who survived but lost sight in one of his eyes.
In the days after the shooting, police arrested Las Vegans Marcus Weatherspoon, 22, and Darnell G. Harris, age unavailable.
Last week, police said they were searching for Beavers and Las Vegan Terrance Winn, 20, for questioning. Winn has not been located.
