The city of Las Vegas will celebrate the opening of Cimarron Rose Park Thursday evening with a ceremony and barbecue.
City Councilman Michael Mack will take part in an indoor ceremony from 5 to 7 p.m. at the park at Cimarron and Ann roads.
The city's departments of Leisure Services and Neighborhood Services will hold raffles.
