Hetta Christine Crouse

Hetta Christine Crouse, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 29, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for 12 years, she was a clerk at the Dula gym and a board member of the Atrium Gardens Home Owners Association.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Marin of Hacienda Heights, Calif., and Judith Lemison of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two sons, Donald McCraken of Bardwell, Ky., and Jim McCraken of Las Vegas; one sister, Marjorie Johnson of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; one brother, William Chatfield of Sparta, Wis.; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Gordon De Lange

Gordon De Lange, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Sunnyside, Utah. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired plumber in the construction industry, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Plumbers Local 525.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; one daughter, Jorja Hawkins of Kona, Hawaii; one son, Daryl Gillespi of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two brothers, Lyle De Lange of Las Vegas and Clark De Lange of Orem, Utah; two sisters, Lyla Vincent of Orem and Joyce Ellis of Magna, Utah; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.

Lyle Roy Greenman

Lyle Roy Greenman, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 9, 1929, in New York state. A six month resident, he was an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry and a veteran.

He is survived by one son, Greg Greenman of Texas.

Ronald George Hamilton

Ronald George Hamilton, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 7, 1937, in California. A resident for 29 years, he was a floorman at Buffalo Bill's and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Roberta Cornell of Las Vegas.

A memorial service is scheduled 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 Swenson St. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling arrangements.

Ashley Hines

Ashley Hines, 14, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 11, 1986, in Pennsylvania. She was a resident for six months.

She is survived by her mother, Denielle Hines of Pennsylvania.

Dale Charles Krueger

Dale Charles Krueger, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1938, in Pierce, Neb. A resident for 10 years, he was a steel framer, a veteran of the National Guard and a member of the Carpenters Local 1977.

He is survived by one son, Justin Krueger of Las Vegas, and one sister, Irene Sellin of Greeley, Colo.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Henrietta Ann Limbert

Henrietta Ann Limbert, 78, of Henderson died Friday in a local care center. She was born March 24, 1922, in Sidney, Ohio. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired registered nurse and a member of Senior Friends of Green Valley.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol Cornett of Plano, Texas; one son, Paul Limbert of Westminster, Calif.; two sisters, Rosa Bailey and Vena Kies, both of Sidney, Ohio; one brother, Clarence Riethman of Anna, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Shelby J. Lynch

Shelby J. Lynch, 64, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born May 19, 1936, in Blue Field, W.Va. A resident for 16 years, she was retired from the ceramics business and was a member of the Moose.

She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Romane, Juanima Hale and Tammy Steed, and one son, Daryl Coeburn, all of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Benjamin Frank Martello

Benjamin Frank Martello, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 30, 1940, in South Gate, Calif. A resident for 40 years, he was a certified public accountant, a member of the Nevada Society of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; two daughters, Ellen Martello of Sherman Oaks, Calif., and Sheryl Martello of Las Vegas; two sons, Ben Martello of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Robert Martello of Wildomar, Calif.; one sister, Lou Ann Sieberg of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Lawrence Martin

Lawrence Martin, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 24, 1947, in San Francisco. A resident for 25 years, he was in the broadcasting industry, was an Air Force veteran and a member of Air Personality for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kathie Stalker; one daughter, Dawn Martin of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Daniel Mead

Daniel Mead, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1935, in Arizona. A resident for 14 years, he was a publisher, writer and printer.

He is survived by his wife, Nora Lillian; one son, David Neil Mead; three daughters, Deborah Lynn Mead, Jennifer Ann Mead and Brenda Jayne Swaim; and one grandchild.

Services are scheduled 4 p.m. Sunday in Christ Epscopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

George Mejia Jr.

George Mejia Jr., 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 13, 1946, in Los Angeles. A resident for three years, he was a computer programmer in the casino industry and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Shirlie; one son, George Lefort of Louisiana; three daughters, Heidi Hernandez, Malissa Hernandez and Yolanda Mejia, his mother, Margaret Matthews, his father, George Mejia Sr., and three sisters, Josie Garcia, Margie Lanquette and Linda Mejia, all of California; five brothers, Charles Mejia, David Mejia, Daniel Mejia, and Robert Mejia, all of California, and Roland Diaz of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Ronald I. Meltzer

Ronald I. Meltzer, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 7, 1933, in Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired casino floorman and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; one son, Cliff Meltzer, and one daughter, Monica Meltzer, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Marvin Meltzer of Florida and Joseph Meltzer of New York state; and two grandchildren.

Services are scheduled 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Regina Mikula

Regina Mikula, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 18, 1929, in California. A resident for three years, she was a graphic artist for 37 years and a member of the Racers of Balboa.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Sparks of California and Ray Gurunian of Illinois; one daughter, Regina Gurunian of Las Vegas; two brothers, Charles Sparks of California and Arthur Sparks of Colorado; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held in San Fernando Valley, Calif. Nevada Funeral Service, 725 S. Casino Center Blvd., Suite 208, is handling arrangements.

Mariano Montoya

Mariano Montoya, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in New Mexico. He was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Vallecitos, N.M. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired laborer in the construction industry

He is survived by his wife, Eloisa; four daughters, Selina Montoya, Vicenta Montoy, Tina Prince and Ramona Montoya, three sons, Albert Montoya, Maximino Montoya and Edward Montoya, all of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled three hours prior to a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass is scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis De Seles Catholic Church. Burial will be in Davis Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Elijah Payne

Elijah Payne, 13 days, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 23, 2000, in Las Vegas.

He is survived his parents, Justin and Casey Payne, and two sisters, Mackenzie Payne and Taylor Payne, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Barbara and John Connors and Rick and Kathy Roche, all of Las Vegas, and Ron and Ellen Payne of St. George, Utah.

Graveside services were scheduled 11:15 a.m. today in Palm Cemetery, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.

James M. Quisenberry

James M. Quisenberry, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Harold, Texas. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired schoolteacher, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the National Mums Society.

He is survived by his wife, Tommie; one daughter, Esther Quisenberry, and one son, Mark Quisenberry, both of Las Vegas; one brother, David Quisenberry of Texas; two sisters, Nell Rogers of Arkansas and Ellen Geisler of Texas; and one grandchild.

A memorial service is scheduled 7 p.m. today in Good Samaritan Lutheran Church. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. is handling arrangements.

Sue Stringer

Sue Stringer, 57, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 31, 1943, in Shreveport, La. A resident for 28 years, she was a file clerk in the medical industry.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Manley; and her mother, Ruth Albright Stringer of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be in Arkansas.

Joseph A. Valdez

Joseph A. Valdez, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. Born July 7, 1927, in Colorado, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Plasida, two sons, Fidel A. Valdez of Arvada, Colo., and Thomas J. Valdez of Las Vegas; three sisters, Charlotte Martinez of Los Angeles, Christine Doinguez of Commerce City, Colo., and Loyola Trujillo of Denver; one brother, Frank W. Valdez of Santa Fe, N.M.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Maude Mae Wadlow

Maude Mae Wadlow, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 28, 1913, in Missouri. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, William Wadlow and James Wadlow; one daughter, Mary Susan Freeman; one brother, Charles E. Webb; three sisters, Zella Hammer, Irene Van Horn and Opel Black; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Charles J. Woitysiak

Charles J. Woitysiak, 86, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born July 30, 1914, in New London, Conn. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired service station manager, a World War II Army veteran and worked for Nevada Cooler Pad for many years.

He is survived by one son, Charles R. Woitysiak of Las Vegas; one daughter, Rita Sancrose of Waterford, Conn., one brother, Stanly Woitysiak of Ward, Conn.; and six grandchildren.
