Letter: Drug-dependent generation is sad and cowardly
Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000 | 9:31 a.m.
If the good Lord said to me, "John, I'll make you 21 again," I'd say, thanks but no thanks.
When I met my wife many years ago, I loved her with my eyes and heart. I didn't go to a bar or whatever, all drugged out and her being drugged out on the latest drug craze, "ecstasy."
What kind of young people are out there today? I guess that can be answered by this country having the largest divorce rate in the civilized world.
You fools that need drugs to give you a personality, or get you through the day, are a sad bunch of people, not to mention cowards.
