Letter: Dealership stance raises questions

Setting aside the "gentlemen's agreement" currently in force -- not to have new automobile dealerships open on Sundays -- the real reason seems to finally be coming out. I thought that it might be religious, and it might, but something new has been added.
The Cashman family is selling its Cadillac dealers to the nation's second largest auto retailer. This retailer already owns a few other auto agencies here in the Las Vegas area. The largest auto retailer in the nation also owns several new auto dealerships here in the Las Vegas area. Is the handwriting on the wall? Why would large retailers want to be closed on their best selling day?
Who is Kenny supporting and why? Who is behind this push for the county to render an unconstitutional law?
Blue laws are illegal, immoral and unconstitutional. Why is our county government trying to reinstate them?
