Marie Mary Beseres

Marie Mary Beseres, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1922, in South Milwaukee, Wis. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired seamstress and a member of the Armenian American Club of Las Vegas.

She is survived by her husband, Jerome; two sons, Richard Fischl of Las Vegas and Ronald Fischl of Minneapolis; one sister, Carlotta Pilibosian of Waukegan, Ill.; one brother, Harry Hamparian of Norwalk, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Patricia E. Colbert

Patricia E. Colbert, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Illinois. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star of California Women's Association for the Elks.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; four daughters, Teri Bedford, Jaccie Martinson, Betty J. Adams and Mary Ann Lee; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Doris "Dorie" Davis

Doris 'Dorie' Davis, 72, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 27, 1928, in Los Angeles. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Dent; one son, Randy Davis of Redmond, Wash.; one daughter, Debbie Capps of Henderson; one sister, Suzzann Parker of Katy, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Marjorie A. Evans

Marjorie A. Evans, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1905, in Bucklin, Kan. A resident for 60 years, she was a Realtor with Evans Realty.

She is survived by one son, Marshall L. Evans of Colorado Springs, Colo.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lee Gardner

Lee Gardner, 74, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born May 1, 1926, in Mantua, Ohio. A resident for two years, he was a retired equipment operator for a power line construction company, a veteran of the Merchant Marines, a member of Las Vegas High Rollers Chapter of Merchant Marines and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; two sons, Grant Gardner of Alta Loma, Calif., and Jim Chestnut of Balboa, Calif.; two daughters, Susan LeBlanc of Adams, Ore., and Lisa Chestnut of Encinitas, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Laura K. Garvin

Laura K. Garvin, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 10, 1913, in Goldfield. A resident for 55 years, she was a retired medical nurse, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, PEO Sisterhood and Mesquite Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Helen G. Bruner of Las Vegas and Sally G. Blackwell of San Ramon, Calif.; two sons, Neil Garvin and Noel Garvin, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday at Griffith Methodist Church, 1701 E. Oakey Blvd.

Hans Gruber

Hans Gruber, 67, of Phoenix died Monday in Phoenix. He was born March 25, 1933, in Vienna, Austria. A former resident of Las Vegas, he was an optician.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Gruber; two daughters, Sylvia Randall of Las Vegas and Cindy Schroeder of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four sons, Werner Gruber of Las Vegas, Richard Gruber of Henderson and Eric Gruber and Brian Gruber, both of Reno; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Joan Taylor Horseman

Joan Taylor Horseman, 53, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 17, 1946, in Chester, Pa. A resident for four years, she was a floor person for a grocery store.

She is survived by one daughter, Annmarie Mann of Freeland, Mich.; one son, Jerry Horseman of San Diego; her mother, Hilda Taylor, and two brothers, William Taylor and John Taylor, all of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Edward Lints, 51, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1948, in Oneida, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a heavy equipment operator for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; nine children; his mother, Georgia Lints of Canastota, N.Y.; three brothers; two sisters; and eight grandchildren.

William Ray Long

William Ray Long, 20, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1979, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for seven years, he was an electrical apprentice in the entertainment business.

He is survived by one son, Lucas William Long of Las Vegas; his parents, Mary Pauwels Long of Las Vegas and Ernest E. Long of Rockford; his grandparents, Robert and Beverly Long and Bob and Connie Pauwels, all of Rockford.

Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. with an 8 p.m. rosary today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Dennis Allan Moore

Dennis Allan Moore, 55, of Las Vegas died July 25 in Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1944, in Ohio. A resident for 20 years, he was a dental technician.

He is survived by one son, Shawn Moore; two brothers, Graig Moore and Ronny Boggs; and two sisters, Denise Purdy and Vicky Jones.

Delores Olivia Moore-Richardson

Delores Olivia Moore-Richardson, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1930, in New Orleans. A resident for 10 months, she was a hospital housekeeper and a member of the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Association in New Orleans.

She is survived by one stepson, Edward McKinney; three brothers, Stanley Sr. of San Francisco and Clayton and Leslie; and three sisters, Doris M. Singleton, Grace M. Heard and Fay Moore, all of New Orleans.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd., North. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Rose Neuman

Rose Neuman, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 13, 1921, in Detroit. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leo; two sons, Richard M. Neuman of Santa Monica, Calif., and David L. Neuman of Yosemite, Calif.; one sister, Freida Sears of Sinclair Shores, Mich.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Donald R. Redfoot

Donald R. Redfoot, 62, of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 23, 1938, in Pennsylvania. A resident for seven years, he was a wind tunnel tech in the aerospace industry, an Army veteran and a member of the Silvery Colorado Rock Club.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Donald M. Redfoot and Timothy C. Redfoot; three daughters, Stella M. Redfoot, Melinda M. Redfoot, Kari Harris and Alesha Karjala; one sister, Carolyn Nesslin; and four grandchildren.

Barbara A. Schneider, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 5, 1910, in Ely, Minn. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired general manager for an interior decorating company.

She is survived by one son, Paul A. Schneider of Las Vegas; one sister, Angie Musich of Minneapolis; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Louis Abraham Silverstein aka Lou Silvers, 73, of Las Vegas died July 20 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1926, in Illinois. A resident for 10 years, he was an electronics salesman and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Marla Miller and Judi Turpin; one stepson, Barry Stample; one stepdaughter, Adele Vaca; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
