LAKE MEAD: Striped bass fishing remains good throughout the lake while the action for bluegill has taken off in the Overton Arm, according to the Nevada Division of Wildlife.
Boaters are connecting with stripers by casting surface lures and still fishing with bait. Some of the better areas have been from Pyramid Island to the Hemenway Wall, Boxcar Cove and Fish Island.
Shore anglers have had fair luck for channel catfish and small stripers near the lower campground at Echo Bay.
