Ad agency announces launch of casino job site
Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000 | 10:33 a.m.
Ad-Media Promotions LLC of Las Vegas announced the launch of "CasinoWorker.com," an Internet site designed to provide listings of job openings at casinos across the world.
The site is billed as an interactive job posting site. Participating casinos will post current openings on the site, which can then be searched for free by job-seekers. The site also offers job-seekers the opportunity to forward applications electronically to casino companies.
The rates for job posting starts at $25 per ad for four weeks.
Similar websites for casino job-seekers exist including one operated by the "Casino Hospitality and Travel Network," located at www.chat-network.com. Job listings are also posted on the individual websites of many casinos in the Las Vegas area, and job classifieds from the Las Vegas area are posted at www.lasvegasnewspapers.com, a joint advertising website operated by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas Sun.
