William D. Baruffi
William D. Baruffi, 41, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 20, 1959, in Philadelphia. A resident for 16 years, he was a truck driver owner-operator.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; his mother, Agnes Baruffi of Henderson; three sisters, Michele Baruffi of Henderson, Patricia Magas of Las Vegas and Barbara Lanser of Blackwood, N.J.; and two brothers, Leonard Baruffi and Harry DeClemente, both of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 4220 S. Maryland Pkwy., Suite 112, Las Vegas 89119.
Patti Cassatta
Patti Cassatta, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 28, 1924, in Canada. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired entertainer, president of Overseas Rehabilitation Training and director of Senior Sounds.
She is survived by her husband, Jim.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Isaac Jamil Combs
Isaac Jamil Combs, 21 weeks, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 2, 2000, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Romika Thrower and Tajuan Combs, one sister, Amina Combs, and three brothers, Daeveion Moore, Matthew Combs and Joseph Combs, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Regena Thrower, Robert Taylor and Jackie Sanford, all of Las Vegas and Dewayne Combs of Los Angeles.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.
Fred C. Dean
Fred C. Dean, 86, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 14, 1914, in Brawley, Calif. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired petroleum truck driver and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by four daughters, Yvonne Dean, Mary Galterio, Sue Kennedy and Grace Jimenez, and two sons, Kevin Dean and Gregory Dean, all of Las Vegas; 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
James B. Ells III
James B. Ells III, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1921, in Detroit. A resident for eight years, he was a painter for the city of Santa Monica, Calif., and was a Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Beatriz; two daughters, Valerie Robertson of North Las Vegas and Patti Anderson of Las Vegas; two sisters, Betty Gentillion of Los Angeles and Pat Hood of Homeland, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Leodonis Escobar
Leodonis Escobar, 18, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1982, in Olguin, Cuba. A resident for six years, he was a hotel food runner.
He is survived by his mother, Amarilis Consuegra Baldes, his father, Eduardo Romero, and one sister, Amarilis Romero, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main.
Jean Delores Florio
Jean Delores Florio, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Detroit. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired Chicago restaurant owner.
She is survived by three sons, Louis Florio, Ronald Florio and Ralph Florio; two daughters, Donna Pierce and Dawn Florio; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be private.
Ernest Jensen
Ernest Jensen, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 5, 1906, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired sports coach.
He is survived by his wife, Leona; two sons, Jene Jensen of Las Vegas and Ernest Jensen of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be in California.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Martin G. Kihano Jr.
Martin G. Kihano Jr., 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Stockton, Calif. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired ammunitions supervisor for the federal government and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rosita; two daughters, Valerie Burgess and Dee Dee Kihano, both of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Ramona Inocelda, Rosie Panerio and Molly Kennedy, all of Hawaii.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Carol E. Leavitt
Carol E. Leavitt, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 18, 1930, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lawrence J.; three daughters, Linda Ann Leavitt of Las Vegas, Denise Langendorf of Pahrump and Suzanne E. Paulson of Henderson; one son, Bruce B. Leavitt of Las Vegas; one sister, Margaret Crystal of Bountiful, Utah; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the 9th Ward LDS Chapel, Pennwood Avenue and Arville Street. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Doris Levine
Doris Levine, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired restaurateur.
She is survived by one daughter, Jodie J. Levine of Las Vegas; two sons, Alan L. Levine of Long Island, N.Y., and Jay M. Levine of Littleton, Colo.; one sister, Elsie Rubinstein, and one brother, Louie Bucher, both of New Jersey; and six grandchildren.

Anna M. Lockett, 75, of North Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 26, 1925, in Providence, R.I. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Robert A. Lockett of Middletown, Calif., and Charles W. Lockett III of San Diego; one daughter, Karen A. Koeller of Las Vegas; one sister, Yonnie Cilli of Cranston, R.I.; one brother, Joseph Pannone of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Dayvon L. Macklin
Dayvon L. Macklin, 1 month, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 2000, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his father, Perry Macklin Jr., his mother, Jocelyn Flanagan, one brother, Dominique Washington, and his grandparents, Stephanie and Perry Macklin, Linda Brown and Roy Flanagan, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Karen Ann Paul
Karen Ann Paul, 47, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Aug. 18, 1952, in Cleveland.
Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Bunkers Memory Gardens. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Karlene S. 'Kay' Pratt
Karlene S. "Kay" Pratt, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born June 12, 1936, in Ann Arbor, Mich. A resident for seven years, she was a retired factory worker in the refrigeration industry.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; one daughter, Lisa M. Henes of Saline, Mich.; three sons, Ronald Logan of Tecumseh, Mich., Tim Logan of Britton, Mich., and Robert Pratt of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lester A. Prince
Lester A. Prince, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 16, 1917, in Port Arthur, Texas. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired mason, a Navy veteran and a member of Cement Mason Union Local 797.
He is survived by two stepsons, Jack Larason of LaMoille and Gordon Larason of Blue Diamond; one stepdaughter, Diane Land of Las Vegas; and three adopted children, Sidney Prince, Ricky Prince and Linda Scheitzer, all of Texas.
No local services are scheduled. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Phyllis Timm
Phyllis Timm, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 14, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 22 years, she was a biller for a medical clinic.
She is survived by her husband, Karl; three sons, David Allen Timm and Daniel Patrick Timm, both of Redding, Calif., and Lawrence Benjamin Kelley of Las Vegas; four daughters, Janet Elizabeth Mitchell and Barbara Louise Merriam, both of Las Vegas, Victoria Allison Timm of Tonopah and Karolyn R. Holt of Indiana; and 10 grandchildren.

Teresa J. "Aunt Tess" Wilhelm, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1919, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired dressmaker for Bergdorf Goodman.
She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn T. Kerr of Las Vegas; one sister, Rose Picucci of Rutland, Vt.; and one brother, Joseph Potenzano of New Jersey.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 5 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional services will be noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
