Albert Alexis
Albert Alexis, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1918, in New Britain, Conn. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired financial accountant for Gulf Oil, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1753.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie M.; and one daughter, Coleen A. Davenport of Tucson, Ariz.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Wayne C. Behrend
Wayne C. Behrend, 49, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 12, 1951, in Wausau, Wis. A resident for 25 years, he was a chauffeur.
He is survived by two daughters, Yolanda Behrend and Cruzizta Behrend, both of New Mexico; one son, Billy Behrend, and one stepson, Vinnie Smithley, both of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Wendy Smithley of Denver; three sisters, Charlene Ruiz, Ethel Rivera and Rosie Medrano, and two brothers, Ralph Behrend and Julio Behrend, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Dorothy Wolz Bullock
Dorothy Wolz Bullock, 80, of Las Vegas died July 17 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 8, 1919, in Hudson, Ill. A resident for 46 years, she was a professional housekeeper.
She is survived by one son, Richard Wolz of Las Vegas; one brother, Ralph Stagner of Altadena, Calif.; and one sister, Velma Stagner of Azusa, Calif.

Vincent Cuocolo
Vincent Cuocolo, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 16, 1927, in New York City. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired Clark County electrician's helper, a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; two daughters, Annette Kubrich and Linda Corrao, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Catherine Cicimarra of New Jersey and Anna Squillante of the Bronx, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Harry B. Deegan
Harry B. Deegan, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born May 16, 1921, in Tarentum, Pa. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired casino security guard and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Roger F. Deegan of Las Vegas and Joseph R. Deegan of Plano, Texas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Mabel B. Estremo
Mabel B. Estremo, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 16, 1922, in Nova Scotia. A resident for four months, she was a retired retail buyer.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; one daughter, Josephine Scacchetti of Las Vegas; two sons, Charles Estremo Jr. of New York City and John Estremo of Watagua, Texas; two brothers, Lawrence Verge of White Point, Nova Scotia, and Ambrose Verge of New York state; one sister, Margurite MacWilliam of Winnipeg, Manitoba; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is arranging a private memorial service.
The family suggests donations to the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada, 5300 Vegas Drive, Las Vegas.
Wanda Forbes
Wanda Forbes, 56, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. An office administrator in the gaming industry, she was born June 30, 1944, in Bay City, Texas.
She is survived by four sons, Kevin Forbes and David Forbes, both of Las Vegas and Michael Forbes and William Forbes; three daughters, Susan Berroyer of Las Vegas, Victoria Blackwell, and Toby Villescas of Salt Lake City; three sisters, Claudette Porter of Lago Vista, Texas, Gloria Jones of Amarillo, Texas, and Elaine Kitchens of Tybee Island, Ga.; and 20 grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Canyon Ridge Christian Church. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Joseph S. Magenti
Joseph S. Magenti, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 2, 1917, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 30 years, he was an industrial therapist with SIIS and a Marine Corps private first class.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice; one daughter, Janet Rivers of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Vitale of Buffalo, N.Y.; one brother, Charles of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be Wednesday in Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson.
Joe Newton McDow
Joe Newton McDow, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1943, in Louisiana. A resident for 38 years, he was a Nevada Test Site employee in records management and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; one son, Robert McDow; two daughters, Dawn McDow and Alecia McDow; one brother, George Smith; one sister, Sheilah Smith; and one grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements. Services are Friday at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church.
Mary M. Miller
Mary M. Miller, 84, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 23, 1916, in New York. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Hamburg, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Gloria Mae Nicholson
Gloria Mae Nicholson, 63, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born June 30, 1937, in Chicago. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, George; one son, Russ Hoffman of Acton, Calif.; two daughters, Bonnie Vasquez and Cindy Gonce, both of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Margaret Beatty Pahel
Margaret Beatty Pahel, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 26, 1908, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired hotel restaurant waitress.
She is survived by one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
Lurverne Clara Parrow
Lurverne Clara Parrow, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Maryland. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five daughters, Sandra Coburn, Carole Duvall, Joan Kaiser, Joyce Boeckner and Linda Daff; 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pedro Perez
Pedro Perez, 43, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born May 21, 1957, in Jalisco, Mexico. A resident for nine months, he was a factory worker.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalina; one son, Jose Luis Torrez, and two daughters, Jenny Perez and Raquel Perez, all of Henderson; and one sister, Julia Perez of Kettleman City, Calif.
A rosary prayer service will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
Wilma M. Phillips
Wilma M. Phillips, 68, of Las Vegas died July 18 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Czechoslovakia. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her mother, Erna; and one brother, Horst Magerl.

Beverly Jane Rameau
Beverly Jane Rameau, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Fitchburg, Mass. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired teacher, bus driver and member of Amalgamated Transit Union.
She is survived by her husband, Francis W.; four sons, Michael F. Rameau, Francis W. Rameau Jr., and Walter S. Rameau, all of Fitchburg, Mass., and Wayne V. Rameau of Newport Ritchie, Fla.; two daughters, Sandra D'Amico and Patricia Kreidler, both of Henderson; one sister, Sandra Niel of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Francis Rimer
Francis Rimer, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 25, 1928, in Concord, N.C. A resident for 32 years, he was a public school electrical maintenance worker, an Army, Navy and Air Force Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a member of the Elks, the Moose Lodge, the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion.
He is survived by four daughters, Sande Haynes of Dunnellon, Fla., Joann Gettings of Caliente, Kathy Haire of Las Vegas and Sheri Johnson of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Jason Rimer of Henderson and Michael Lewis of Greensboro, N.C.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Wednesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Burial will be private.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Jimmy Charles Sigala III
Jimmy Charles Sigala III, 3, of Sunland, Calif., died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 24, 1996, in California and was a visitor to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Wendy and Jimmy C. Sigala Jr., two sisters, Jasmin Sigala and Jaimmy Sigala, and one brother, Jesse Sigala, all of Sunland; his grandparents, Paulina and Jimmy C. Sigala Jr. of Los Angeles and Terry and Gary Petty of Sunland; and his great-grandmother, Presciliana Sanchez of Los Angeles.
Services and burial will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling local arrangements.
Lynda Venderink
Lynda Venderink, 45, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 31, 1954, in Durban, South Africa. A resident for seven years, she was a travel agent.
She is survived by her husband, Dirk; her mother, Joan Pictor, and one sister, Gayle Acutt, both of Durban; and one brother, Barry Pictor of Johannesburg, South Africa.
A memorial service will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
John Wasilko
John Wasilko, 79, of Las Vegas died July 11 in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1921, in Johnstown, Pa. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired police officer, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and a lifetime member of Moose Lodge 603 in Santa Barbara, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; five daughters, Wendy Wasilko and Bonnie Bonello, both of Santa Barbara and Vickie Wasilko, Sonya Freeman and Shilo Wasilko, all of Las Vegas; one son, Michael Wasilko of Santa Barbara; one sister, Mary Sysak of Johnstown; one brother, Mike Wasilko of Grass Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
