Letter: Juipe gets a bogey
Friday, April 28, 2000 | 11:28 a.m.
Dean Juipe hit a new low in his April 24 column berating the residents at TPC Summerlin for allegedly ignoring the Senior Tour tournament last weekend. Did it ever occur to him that the patios and backyards were empty because most home owners were on the golf course enjoying the tournament -- as we have been for every golf event held here during the past six years? I've walked every hole of the TPC many times.
If Mr. Juipe expects us to stay home and portray his version of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" for the benefit of the media he will continue to be disillusioned because it won't happen.
