Del Mar parent trading on Nasdaq

Shares in Las Vegas-based Sunderland Corp. began trading on the Nasdaq Small Cap market Thursday.
Through its subsidiary Del Mar Mortgage, Sunderland finances real estate construction projects.
Sunderland recently acquired broker-dealer DM Financial Services Inc., and just merged with Las Vegas-based accounting and consulting firm L.L. Bradford & Co.
The company also recently began operating a Financial Services Division in hopes of establishing a national financial services network.
Sunderland employs 46 people in its Las Vegas operations. Last year, the company reported $11.8 million in revenue, with net income of $2.6 million.
