Billie Jean Bernal
Billie Jean Bernal, 72, of Las Vegas died April 20 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gail.
She is survived by her husband, John; one sister, Peggy Oschman of Las Vegas.
Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
Lawrence Biscaino
Lawrence Biscaino, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 23, 1945, in Hawaii. A resident for 3 1/2 years, he was a security officer.
He is survived by one brother, Jerome Biscaino of Oklahoma; and two sisters, Laverne Holstock and Wileen Biscaino, both of Hawaii.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Hawaii. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Willard Leon Curtis
Willard Leon Curtis, 55, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Minnesota. A resident for 10 years, he was a customer service planner and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean; two daughters, Susan Curtis of Woodland, Calif., and Mona Rossi; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Aloysius T. DieKemper
Aloysius T. DieKemper, 86, of Las Vegas died April 16 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 20, 1913, in New Baden, Ill. A resident for many years, he was a landscaper and a World War II Army and Air Force major/chaplain in the 1st Cavalry Division.
He is survived by his former wife, Betty Asay of Pahrump; five sons, Anthony DieKemper of Baltimore, Steve DieKemper and Charles DieKemper, both of Las Vegas, Michael DieKemper of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Geoff Wallace of Pahrump; four daughters, Anne DieKemper of Lansing, Mich., Mary Walsh of Cape Cod, Mass., Lisa DieKemper of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Theresa Burnett of Reno; two stepdaughters, Catherine Gray of Glen Rock, Wyo., and Sandra Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Petronilla Case DieKemper of Illinois, Marian Williams of Canoga Park, Calif., Elenora Brand of Florissant, Mo., and Cornelia Boevinglott of Westminster, Colo.; and one brother, Raman DieKemper of Illinois.

Ralph E. Doherty
Ralph E. Doherty, 86, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 17, 1914, in Skiatook, Okla. A resident for 11 years, he was an expediter with the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years, a Navy veteran, a member of the Postal Workers Union and Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Helen C.; one daughter, Helen L. Doherty of San Dimas, Calif.; one son, John E. Doherty of the Dallas, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
His ashes will be scattered at sea by the U.S. Navy. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Grace O. Fisher
Grace O. Fisher, 93, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 1, 1906, in West Bearington, R.I. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired hospital registered nurse.
She is survived by one stepdaughter, Fran Knauss of Boulder City.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd.
Ivy L. Fowler
Ivy L. Fowler, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 24, 1921, in Biloxi, Miss. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired hotel cashier and a member of Take Off Pounds Sensibly.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Parrish of Denver and Kay Horvath of Las Vegas; four sons, Robert Fowler, Phillip Fowler and Donald Fowler, all of Las Vegas, and Michael Fowler of Reno; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Theresa Russo Fregeolle
Theresa Russo Fregeolle, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 1, 1920, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident she worked in electronics and was a veteran.
She is survived by her husband, Roland; one daughter, Susan Lynn Morris of Las Vegas.
Graveside services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Efton R. Fullerton
Efton R. Fullerton, 78, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. He was born Feb. 6, 2000, in Garner, Mo. A resident for 11 years, he was an automobile mechanic and an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vieta, in 1998.
He is survived by one son, Gerald Golston, and one daughter, Rita Homes, both of Pahrump; one brother, Ray Fullerton of Missouri; and two sisters, Violia Means of Missouri and Georgia Adaberry of California.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Saturday in United Methodist Church, Pahrump. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., is handling arrangements.
C. Herb 'Doc' Koho
C. Herb 'Doc' Koho, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born May 17, 1930, in Pocatello, Idaho. He was a polymer researcher.
He is survived by one daughter, Kim Koho Vaday of Stuart, Fla.; two sons, Brian Koho of Nashville, Tenn., and Kyle Koho of Orlando, Fla.; his mother, Louis Koho; one sister, Colleen Koho Coldwell; and two brothers, Ben Koho and Charles "Chick" Koho.
Burial will be in Florida. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Franklin Miller
Franklin Miller, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 20, 1943, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for 21 years, he was president and founder of an audio manufacturing firm, member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers and Society of Broadcast Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; and one son, David Miller of Las Vegas.
Services will be noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Willie Musso
Willie Musso, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 23, 1930, in Vallejo, Calif. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired hotel shift manager and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Frankie; three daughters, Cynthia Musso of Sacramento and Sharon Musso and Debra Musso, both of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the LDS Mountain View Ward. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Guenn H. Peterson, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. She was born Oct. 11, 1914, in Minden, Neb. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired Department of Corrections clerical worker in Chino, Calif.
She is survived by one brother, Kenneth Sutton of Las Vegas; and one sister, Betty Sutton of Lincoln, Neb.

Leslie A. Price
Leslie A. Price, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 30, 1919, in Chicago. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired mechanical engineer at hospitals and schools and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one daughter, Judith DuBois; two sons, Kenneth Price and R.C. Price; one sister, Berncide Howery; one brother, James Price; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Eufemia Rabbio, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 2, 1912, in Italy. A resident for many years, she was a sales clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Maria Rabbio of Las Vegas.

Kimberly Renae Ricks, 34, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. She was born April 17, 1966, in San Jose, Calif. A resident for one year, she was a payroll manager.
She is survived by her father, Dr. George T. Ricks of Riverside, Calif.; her mother, Sandra J. Ricks of Parker, Ariz.; two brothers, Gregory Ricks and Bryan Ricks, both of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Claude and Katie Coffey of Riverside, Bob and Pansy Ricks of Seattle and Irene Murray of Chula Vista, Calif.

Frida Shpak
Frida Shpak, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1919, in Belorussia. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired schoolteacher.
She is survived by two sons, Boris Shpak and Leonid Shpak, both of Las Vegas; and two granddaughters.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Arnold Solomon
Arnold Solomon, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 23, 1927, in Detroit. A resident for nine years, he was a retired elementary school principal and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene; two sons, Benjamin Jay Solomon of Albuquerque, N.M., and Peter Stuart Solomon of Glendale, Calif.; one daughter, Rebecca Jo Solomon of Seattle; one brother, Jerome Solomon of Southfield, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Bessie Starkes, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born April 29, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 46 years, she taught arts and crafts and was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandy Burns of Las Vegas; one son, Jim Starkes of San Francisco; one sister, Eleanor Nizer of Florida; and one grandson.

James Weens
James Weens, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born July 5, 1939, in Quitman, Mich. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired porter in the gaming industry.
He is survived by one daughter, Cheryl R. of Las Vegas; one son, Leonard of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Mary Weens of Las Vegas and Sarah Davis of Columbus, Ohio; and several grandchildren.

Earl Wilson Jr.
Earl Wilson Jr., 45, of Las Vegas died April 19 in Las Vegas. He was born June 9, 1954, in Vicksburg, Miss. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was an employee for the U.S. Postal Service and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Karcema E. Wilson of Cleveland; four brothers, Ernest Harris of Lake Providence, La., Kareem A. Muhammad of Detroit and Kenneth L. Wilson and Myron Fowler, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Fraundla R. Robinson and LaKimberly D. Robinson of Arlington, Texas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today at Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday at Harrison Ross Chapel. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
