StumbleClinton nominates Riegle for federal judge post

President Clinton has nominated Las Vegas Bankruptcy Judge Linda Riegle to become a federal judge for Nevada.
Clinton's nomination of Riegle was hailed by Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., who recommended her to the post.
Meanwhile, confirmation hearings are set later this week for two other Nevada candidates for the federal bench. Roger Hunt is presently a U.S. magistrate and Kent Dawson is Henderson's justice of the peace. Both will appear Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
