Columnist Kate Maddox: Show off your ‘Street Smarts’

The new game show "Street Smarts" makes an appearance in Las Vegas on Saturday and is looking for everyday people to answer some questions.

The show, which is from the same crew that created "Change of Heart" and "Blind Date," wants to find people who may or may not know the correct answers to some fairly benign questions. Contestants in Los Angeles then wager on whether the people on the street have the replies right or wrong. Sort of a "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" for the average Joe. (Minus the big bucks, of course.)

Look for the crew outside the Harley-Davidson Cafe on the Strip.

Shawn Southwick King, wife of Larry King, called to say that she and her family were looking forward to a Las Vegas vacation last weekend, but at the last minute decided that a quiet Easter at home in Los Angeles was the wise decision.

King had wanted to be on hand for the unveiling of his wax likeness at Madame Tussaud's, but dealing with the crowds at the MGM -- where the Kings usually stay in town -- was also something that the family didn't want to contend with. Southwick King is three weeks away from delivering the couple's second child.

She also said that her son from a previous marriage is leaving for a two-year mission trip very shortly and that, with the pending absence, family time is a priority. That doesn't mean the brood has nixed Vegas altogether -- they are still hoping to get to town before he departs on his trip.

In addition to the family info, Southwick King informed me that she is doing great with the pregnancy and that her talking-head husband is "very happy," "cute" and (my mistake here) not the least bit scary-looking.

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf were looking cozy at the Three Tenors concert at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday night. The tennis-playing duo have been a couple for about a year and rumors are still flying about possible nuptials on June 14, which is Graf's 31st birthday, here in Las Vegas.

Also in the sold-out crowd of 11,000 fans were some of the cast members of NBC's "ER." As if those guys don't make enough money playing doctor, they also get some pretty pricey perks. Tickets for Saturday's concert ranged from $95 to $900.

Anthony Edwards, Alex Kingston, Paul McCrane and the George Clooney-esque Goran Visnjic all took in dinner and the concert at Mandalay Bay.

You still have a chance to see a real-life "angel." The appearance by Victoria's Secret model Daniela Pestova will be this Friday at the Forum Shops at Caesars. ...

Check out Steve Apple, who played the role of Dean Martin in the original "Rat Pack is Back" production. He's scheduled to fill in for Rick Michel on April 29 and May 2. ...

Hot bikini girls and the goofy middle-aged rich guys who love to love them will descend on the Tropicana hotel-casino later this week for the annual Miss Hawaiian Tropic International pageant.
