Council members set public meetings

Las Vegas City Council members will hold public meetings so that residents of their wards may discuss issues and any concerns.
Councilman Larry Brown will host meetings beginning at 6:30 p.m. for residents of Ward 4. The meetings will be on Thursday at Cimarron-Memorial High School, 2301 N. Tenaya Way, and on May 4 at Molasky Middle School, 7801 W. Gilmore Ave.
Councilwoman Lynette Boggs McDonald will host meetings for residents of Ward 2 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meetings will be Monday at M.J. Christensen Elementary School, 9001 Mariner Cove; Tuesday at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 Brush St.; May 4 at Veterans Memorial Leisure Services Center, 101 S. Pavilion Center; and May 16 at Clarence Piggott Elementary School, 9601 Red Hills Drive.
Councilman Gary Reese will host meetings for residents of Ward 3 beginning at 6 p.m. The meetings will be May 1 at John S. Park Elementary School, 931 Franklin Avenue; May 8 at Crestwood Elementary School, 1300 Pauline Way; May 15 at Halle Hewetson Elementary School, 701 N. 20th St.; and May 22 at Elbert Edwards Elementary School, 4551 Diamond Head Drive.
