Does anyone realize that Elian's relatives in Miami are brainwashing a child to hate his father? These distant relatives who say they want the little boy to be free and to grow up with choices have refused not only to give custody of a little boy to a loving parent, but also even to allow the child to meet with his parent. In this country that's kidnapping and child abuse.
These same relatives have decided the little boy cannot have the freedom, in our free country, of attending school. That's child neglect.
How many more laws of our country do they have to break before they're thrown into jail?
I'm sure that Castro, after more than 30 years of being in charge of enforcing the laws of Cuba, must be glad that those Cuban-Americans in Miami are out of his country. Can they go home again? I don't think so.
