Casino Data Systems of Las Vegas on Wednesday reported net income of $1.6 million, or 9 cents per share, for the quarter ending March 31.
The figure was a substantial boost from net income of $192,000, or 1 cent per share, reported in the year-ago quarter. Revenues rose 7 percent to $16.8 million, a first quarter record for the company.
Casino Data attributed the increase to growth in its systems and gaming devices lines of business.
