Four pedestrians were injured, one critically, when a car ran onto a sidewalk on the Las Vegas Strip Wednesday night.
Metropolitan Police spokesman Steve Meriwether said the accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. in front of the new Aladdin Hotel, which is scheduled to open in August.
Meriwether said officers are investigating to determine whether the driver, a 25-year-old woman, was driving under the influence of marijuana.
The name of the driver was not immediately released.
The four injured were taken to University Medical Center. Two of the victims were treated and released.
One victim, a man, was reported in critical condition this morning with head injuries. A female victim was reported in fair condition.
