Equinox to be dissolved

Equinox International Corp. of Las Vegas will go out of business and more than $30 million of its assets will be forfeited under a settlement today in a lawsuit filed against Equinox by the Federal Trade Commission, Nevada and seven other states.
Equinox is one of the nation's largest multi-level marketing companies and had 40,000 distributors nationwide prior to being sued by the FTC and the states. They accused Equinox of running an illegal pyramid scheme.
