UNLV men's soccer player Ryan Bledsoe was named to the GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-America at-large first team. Bledsoe, who posted a 4.00 grade-point average as a graduate student in economics last semester, was a two-year starter for the Rebels at goalie. He has twice been honored as UNLV's most outstanding male scholar-athlete and is a two-time member of the Rebel academic top 30.
