The Pentagon said Tuesday that no space aliens are involved in top-secret U.S. military activities.
Pentagon spokesman Ken Bacon made the statement in response to questions about Monday's posting of the first detailed images from a Russian satellite of Area 51 at the Nevada Test Site.
"I think I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that we have no classified program that relies on aliens from outer space," Bacon told reporters.
Aerial Images Inc. of Raleigh, N.C., with three other companies and a Russian satellite agency posted five new images on the Internet. The website is: www.terraserver.com.
