William B. Allen

William B. Allen, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 4, 1944, in New York. A resident for 17 years, he was a custom lighting manufacturer.

He is survived by his companion, Ann Eveleth of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Kelly D. Allen of Henderson.

Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Paul Brewer

Paul Brewer, 67, of Las Vegas died March 13 in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born July 21, 1932, in Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Irene M. Costanza

Irene M. Costanza, 44, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 19, 1955, in Chicago. A resident for 26 years, she was a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Christine Costanza, and one son, Joseph Costanza, both of Las Vegas; her father, LeRoy Szafranski of Reno; and one brother, Steven Szafranski of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be private.

Orville Adam Crask Jr.

Orville Adam Crask Jr., 67, of Pahrump died Saturday in Pahrump. A resident for eight years, he was a retired Navy E-8 who served for 21 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Deanna Crask-Stone, Paula McLeod and Laura Smith; four sons, Robert Crask, Tom Crask, Bill Crask and Patrick Crask; and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd.

Rocco DeMarco

Rocco DeMarco, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 21, 1926, in New York state. A resident for many years, he was a plumber.

He is survived by one son, Stephen DeMarco of Loudonville, N.Y.

Burial will be in New York. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Ray Gardill

Ray Gardill, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Johnstown, Pa. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired computer systems analyst.

He is survived by his wife, Martha.

Roger Hall

Roger Hall, 48, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 12, 1951, in Norwalk, Calif. A resident for 13 years, he was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 631.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Hall of Norwalk; his wife, Donna; one son, Eric Hall of Vista, Calif.; and one stepdaughter, Kristy Johnson of California.

A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. today in First Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Armegine Hodge

Armegine Hodge, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 25, 1942, in Lake Providence, La. A resident for four years, she worked at Marshall Russo in Circus Circus.

She is survived by one sister, Rosemary Hodge of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Otris Joseph

Otris Joseph, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Kentucky. A resident for five years, she was a retail purchaser.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Zajac of Kansas City, Mo., and Elaine Pence; two sons, John Ackerman of Texas and Charles Cousins of Kansas City; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mary Burton Judge

Mary Burton Judge, 84, of Las Vegas died April 5 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 26, 1916, in New York state. A resident for 11 years, she was an insurance clerk.

She is survived by one niece, and one nephew.

Robert M. Knippel

Robert M. Knippel, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 10, 1923, in Milwaukee. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired aircraft engineer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; five daughters, Jane Dwyer of Milwaukee, Susan Gruber of Bend, Ore., Mary Franklin of Walnut Creek, Calif., Linda Matlick of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Nancy Stickles of Palm Springs, Calif.; one sister, Shirley O'Melia of Raleigh, N.C.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Shao D. Liang, 87, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. She was born March 18, 1913, in Canton, China. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Cecilia Hubert, Xia Xuan and Xiu Xiu, all of Las Vegas; one son, Kam Ming Wong of Australia; one sister, and one brother, both of China; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Bernice Marion, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 29, 1915, in Minneapolis. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

Mary Ann McCowen

Mary Ann McCowen, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1936, in Oklahoma. A resident for nine years, she was a savings and loan accountant, a life member of the Pahrump Veterans of Foreign Wars and a voting member of the Cherokee nation.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; one son, Steven Douglas; and one sister, Jesse Lee.

Paul Ralph Mellone

Paul Ralph Mellone, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 24, 1916, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, he was a machinist for a tool and die company, a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marines and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 55 1/2 years, Katherine; three sons, Ken Mellone and Paul Mellone, both of Las Vegas, and Robert Mellone of San Diego; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Rose Menno

Rose Menno, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Arthur Menno of Las Vegas; one sister, Jean Leceese of Freeport, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. today with a 5 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Ginger Northwick

Ginger Northwick, 43, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born July 21, 1956, in Colorado. A resident for 36 years, she was an auditor at Harrah's for more than 16 years, a belly dancer for 27 years with the stage name Sabah and an employee for one year at Steinmart.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck; one son, Brandon Northwick, and three daughters, Alexandra Ewald, Meldoy Ewald and Krys Northwick, her parents, Bob and Emily Barr, and two sisters, Kathy Ryan and Mary Spriggs, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, Mike Welch of Colorado.

Clyde B. Oran

Clyde B. Oran, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A hotel carpenter and World War II Army veteran, he was born July 7, 1924, in Tennessee.

He is survived by one stepson, Richard Arnold of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Alice Hockenberry of Easton, Pa.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Kasteresa R. Severson, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 4, 1917, in Wilson, N.C. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Frosty K. Dietz of Baldwin, Mo., and Sharon Marshall of Las Vegas; three sons, Max Boswell, Donnie Boswell and Billie Boswell, all of Durham, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Paul D. Stich

Paul D. Stich, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 9, 1914, in New York City. A resident for four years, he was a retired salesman for a manufacturing firm.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki; one daughter, Lauren S. Stich of Las Vegas; one son, Don P. Stich of West Roxbury, Mass.; one sister, Dorothea Richter of New York City; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Dawn J. Sturm

Dawn J. Sturm, 42, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born June 15, 1957, in Fond du Lac, Wis. A resident for 30 years, she was a concrete company owner-operator.

She is survived by her husband, Gary M.; one son, Derek Sturm of Henderson; her parents, David and Doris Holterman of Las Vegas; three sisters, Diane Barefield of Atlanta, Debbie Romero of Simi Valley, Calif., and Denise Fielding of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Jack R. Vause

Jack R. Vause, 49, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 13, 1950, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 38 years, he owned and operated J.V. Enterprises and was a retired Henderson Fire Department captain.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy K.; one daughter, Michelle Vause, and one son, John Vause, both of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Thursday in the Desert Rose LDS Chapel, Desert Rose Drive and Pacific Avenue, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Sandy Viale

Sandy Viale, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 28 years, she was a gaming cashier.

She is survived by one son, Louis Scherch of East Northport, N.Y.; and one sister, Mildred Ranalli of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
