Deadline set for Floyd’s mental experts
Tuesday, April 18, 2000 | 10:44 a.m.
Defense attorneys in the Zane Floyd murder case have until May 17 to give prosecutors the final reports of two psychiatric experts who have evaluated their client.
District Judge Jeffrey Sobel ordered defense attorneys Curtis Brown and Doug Hedger to give District Attorney Stewart Bell the reports after Bell complained that thus far, he has only received a two-page preliminary report.
Floyd, 24, is scheduled to go to trial July 10 in connection with a June 1999 shooting spree at the Albertson's store at Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard.
