John James Russell, retired chief executive and current director of Reno-based International Game Technology, has sold about one-half of his stake in the company.
Filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission indicate Russell sold 12,500 shares of IGT stock, grossing $235,500. The date of the sale was not indicated.
IGT's last proxy statement, filed in January, indicated Russell had stock holdings of 8,469 shares and 18,000 options to purchase stock. These options would have expired in March, suggesting that Russell's sale came from the exercise of options.
