Homer Floyd Arnold Jr
Homer Floyd Arnold Jr., 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 24, 1933, in New York. A resident for 17 years, he was an electrical engineer and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Magdalene; one daughter, Brenda; four sons, Angel Arnold of Chicago and Miguel Arnold, Victor Arnold and Noel Arnold, all of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 16, Henderson, is handling private services for the family.
Wanda O. Becker
Wanda O. Becker, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 18, 1935, in Cincinnati. A resident for 11 years, she was cashier in a hotel.
She is survived by one son, Max Loga, Jr., two stepdaughters, Valarie Becker and Yvonne Becker, two stepsons, Mark Becker and Rich Becker, all of Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, Jerry Venator of Las Vegas and Robert Venator of New York; two sisters, June Young and Mary Allen, both of Victorville, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
George Blake
George Blake, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Russia.
He is survived by one brother, Ivan Schvarcz of Las Vegas.
Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Evelyn Casey
Evelyn Casey, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 27, 1916, in Bay City, Mich. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, C. Edwin; one daughter, Carole Nelson of Riverside, Calif.; one brother, Floyd Pawlak of Bay City; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Bernard Joseph Chausmer
Bernard Joseph Chausmer, 90, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 21, 1909, in Cincinnati. A resident for seven years, he was a retired insurance company auditor and a World War II Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by one nephew, Brian Chausmer of Henderson.

Theresa D. Crow
Theresa D. Crow, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born March 13, 1914, in Hungary. A resident for five years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by one son, George L. Crow, two grandsons, Michael P. Crow and Brian T. Crow, one granddaughter, Theresa A. Crow, all of Las Vegas; and three great-grandchildren.

James Edward Flannery
James Edward Flannery, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born March 15, 1922, in Taunton, Mass. A resident for 34 years, he was a hotel steward, a Navy veteran and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian; one daughter, Michelle Flannery of Las Vegas; two sons, Michael Flannery and James Flannery, Jr., one brother, Richard Flannery, all of Taunton; five sisters, Agnes Kelly, Anne Flannery, Rita Machado and Kay Flannery, all of Taunton, and Marion Pearson of West Rockbury, Mass.; and two grandchildren.

Richard Henderson
Richard Henderson, 67, of Las Vegas died April 3 in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 13, 1932, in Colorado. A resident for five years, he was a schoolteacher and a member of the Foster Grandparent group with the Economic Opportunity Board.
He is survived by one son, Kenneth; two daughters, Annette and Andrea; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-10 a.m. Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow.
Grace Dorothy Horsford
Grace Dorothy Horsford, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital.She was born Sept. 26, 1921, in Trinidad. A resident for 31 years, she was a retired beauty salon owner.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Horsford-Normand; one sister, Vida Gormandy of Trinidad; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Chapel, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Top Faith Ministries, 2845 Lindell Road.

Joe Don Johnston
Joe Don Johnston, 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1953, in New Mexico. A longtime resident, he was an assistant cage supervisor.
He is survived by one brother, Billy L. Johnston of Carlsbad, N.M.

Thomas D. Kevin, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 2, 1912, in Lethbridge, Alberta. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired accountant and a member of Kappa Sigma Chi University of Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Sara G.; one daughter, Betty McKnight of Leeds, Utah; one brother, Francis J. Kevin of Calgary, Alberta; and six grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Carol Elaine Sellman La Follette
Carol Elaine Sellman La Follette, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1926, in Hollywood, Calif. A resident for 21 years, she was a retired employee of the Clark County Health District.
She is survived by her husband, Orval Eugene; one son, William Alexander of Sparks; one daughter, Sarretta Ann Knapp of Loyalton, Calif.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled noon Saturday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Al Lether
Al Lether, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 17, 1918, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired manager in the food production industry and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen V.; two sons, William Lether and Jim Lether, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Birdie close of Utah.

Gerald J. Maglio
Gerald J. Maglio, 57, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 3, 1942, in San Francisco. A resident for two years, he was an attorney with Kolesar and Leatham.
He is survived by his wife, Darcy; one son, Peter Maglio of Newport Beach, Calif.; one brother, Rodney Maglio of San Franciso; and one sister, Cheryl Goodman of Encino, Calif.

Margaret Maio, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 27, 1934, in Tewksbury, Mass. A resident for 37 years, she was a clerk for a pharmacy.
She is survived by one son, Frank Maio, and one daughter, Kimberly Maio, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Al Magon, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 30, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for six months, he was a retail salesman and a member of Bet Knesset Bamidbar.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two sons, Scott Magon of Grays Lake, Ill., and Brad Magon of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service was scheduled 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Timothy R. Moeger
Timothy R. Moeger, 43, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1956, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 9 1/2 years, he was a pool construction superintendent and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; three sons, Thomas R. Moeger, Timothy J. Moeger and Casey L. Moeger, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Marcella Lightfoot of Plymouth, Minn.; his father, Thomas E. Moeger of Eagle, Colo.; and one sister, Kathleen Patterson of Wayzata, Minn.

Clyde R. Nordstrom, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 20, 1941, in Minneapolis. A resident for 25 years, he was a parts purchasing agent in the construction industry, an Air Force veteran and a member of the Studebaker Club and Chrysler Club.
He is survived by his wife, Raymunda; one son, Ronald Nordstrom of Lancaster, Calif.; one sister, Patricia Montgomery of San Bernardino, Calif.; one brother, Floyd Nordstrom of Highland, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Services were scheduled 2 p.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista Drive, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Mary S. Parapot, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 30, 1916, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 5 1/2 years, she was a sales clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Valerie.

Angelina Rodriguez, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 6, 1917, in Havana. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired seamstress for a clothing manufacturer.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Howard of Las Vegas.

Maria Ross, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born March 17, 1934, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired fire safety secretary.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred; two daughters, Maria Marino and Dolores Penardo, both of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

James R. Sandrella, 76, of Las Vegas died April 6 in Ely. He was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 22 years, he was a grocery store order filler and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Emily; one son, Perry Sandrella of Sacramento; three stepsons, Gary Langford and Glen Vincent, both of Las Vegas, and Paul Steiger of Ontario, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Nona Vincent of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Alex Sandrella of Louisville, Ky., and Billy Sandrella of Warren, Ohio.
Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Helen Tarka, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Ohio. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Norma Andrews of Las Vegas; one son, William J. Tarka of Youngstown, Ohio; one brother, William Haydu of Niles, Ohio; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Lee Waters, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Beaver, Utah. A resident for 44 years, he was an operations engineer in the construction industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Velva; two daughters, Lola Jean of Las Vegas and Ann Marie of Salt Lake City; two sons, Richard and Kelly, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Warren of Las Vegas, Jack of Beaver and Ronald of Logandale; one sister, Loure Fothermgham of Springville, Utah; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today in Desert Hill Ward, 5100 Sun Valley Drive. A prayer service is scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday in Desert Hills Ward. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Chester Leroy Wissner
Chester Leroy Wissner, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1919, in Michigan. A resident for 13 years, he was a stationary engineer in lumber mill.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; one daughter, Barbara Wissner of Las Vegas; one brother, Carl wissner of Cadillac, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
